Happy Friday! We’re preparing to celebrate mothers here in the USA. I’ll remember my dear mother of blessed memory (as I do every day). Hope all you moms have a good weekend. Here’s another song that goes back 50 years to the widely diverse year of 1973. Money - Pink Floyd This album celebrated its golden anniversary this year with much fanfare and a little Homer Simpson “doh”ing. People who weren’t born when the album was originally released had a DJT fit when they saw the 50th anniversary artwork, which paid tribute to the prism refracting light into a rainbow on the original cover, claiming they were paying tribute to the gay flag (which didn’t come into being until 1978). Doh. By the way, which one’s Pink? (Which, by the way, a record producer actually asked the band in the late 60s. ) Anyway, turn on classic rock and you’ll hear this song today.
