WOULD YOU RATHER HEAR SWEET LIES OR BITTER TRUTH?

Have you ever had that one person whom you know dislikes you very much but pretends to like you?
I had an aunt who dislike me just because when her daughter and I were little had a argument. We patch up the same day but her mom god forgive, she still hates me.
I did ask her for forgiveness in my adulthood and yet she never forgave me. She talks sweetly to me but inside she wishes she could kill me. Whenever I was around her I felt like she is playing politics.
Would you rather hear people talking sweetly to you but holding grudges against you or someone being honest and telling you they don't like you?

Okay, just beat me with the truth then I suffer with lies which later on, will come out in the open. The truth will set us free and will make us accept what is than lies which are only pretensions.

I'd rather choose bitter truth than sweet lies. It may be so hurt in the beginning, but it'll be more hurt if I know the truth letter.

I think that it is never that cut and dried.
Nobody should ever tell you that they do not like you, as that is always hurtful, and of what good can it ever do anyway.
It is their opinion, and whether it is an honest opinion, is doubtful, for all cases of non-liking someone, are nearly always because we do not see truly, but see what we do not like in them, whereas everybody is really a mixture of good and bad points, and we can never know all of these in one, or two short meetings, with them, or even in a lifetime with them sometimes either.
