The sound a tree cutting machine makes while in action is pathetic I am a nature lover and am against cutting down trees .I feel it is the trees that are sobbing Our garden is loaded with wild trees and we have let them be. But there is hunger for concrete jungles the world over and this machine is in great demand Even trees as old as hundred plus years are being treated to this torture. The compound next to ours is being cleaned of all trees. News is that a high rise building is planned there Where we live we only have houses. This is a sad development I could hear the trees sobbing. RIP Image Credit: Are you a nature lover?

I understand cutting them when needed. But sad that they are doing that to put a high rise in

I love nature and I hate to see cutting trees. When a neighbor sent a gardener to cut trees along the stream, I immediately called the office of the Mayor. It is forbidden to cut trees that are NOT your property. I saved the trees and that person was fined.

Hardly anyone things the way you do. No one wants to bell the cat.

@allknowing I was outside watching, my closest neighbor also came and we agreed that we had to stop that immediately.

There is a lot of protection being offered for places like that now, here. People are tired of seeing beautiful, old, trees being cut down for no good, discernible reason. We can’t always stop the destruction, but I feel like we’re making strides. My concern is for the Amazon rain forest. They have basically opened that place up for business, and as necessary forestation is being cleared, endangered animals are being slaughtered. Other people (specifically their governments) need to start caring.

This ruthlessness is seen everywhere and then how do you expect other countries to make a noise?

Yes, plants like trees have lives and when they are cut down, they "cry". In fact, there are documented experiments in which flowers or plants grew more robustly when the people who take care of them talk to them. Here's an article about how talking to plants would help them grow faster.

Thank you. I once shouted at my papaya tree as it was not yielding and it started yielding (lol)
