Another travel video watched. This time I wanted to know more about one of the northernmost remote yet beautiful part of India - Zanskar in Ladakh in Northern Indian mountains. The traveler covers a lot of day to day life, sights and views. The place is remote, rugged and harsh but has spectacular mountain views. The traveler even had frost bites on his feet and had to take local treatment. The good part is that the video is in English: Here is the YT link :

What a beautiful place! However , the traveler should be better prepared when going on his travels. Frost bite? not good.

@Kandae11 May be he needed some better foot insulation. Yes, frost bite is a pretty serious thing. The scenic views are marvelous.

How isolated that place is. It's a bit sad to know that the old ways might soon disappear.

@JudyEv Yes as we are getting more used to the modern ways of life! I wonder how the people would have settled in such places for the first time and how they build such big structures in such a rugged terrain!

@JudyEv Yes! How they came there in the first place? How they dug and cut rocks in such places? What challenges did they face? Did they had some advanced technology at that time, which later got destroyed and never found again? May be someone recorded things on Leaves but they got lost over a period of time. There are lots of such mysteries still in the world.

I don't think people realize just how beautiful India really is, in so many various regions.
