Texas Trip Update #4: Baton Rouge

We just came over the Baton Rouge River Bridge. Which means that we have about three hundred miles left before we get to Galveston.
It's been a pretty decent trip so far.
Other than the four or five wrecks that we have driven passed, traffic has flowed pretty good. We did get a rock that hit the front windshield that left a pretty good chip in it. Which isn't great, but it could of been way worse.
We saw a flipped eighteen-wheeler as well. I hope everyone involved in that wreck made it out okay.
We are making way better time than I thought we would be.
Not all towns have songs that are named after them, but this town does! So enjoy some Garth Brooks. Or don't. I know I will.

That's pretty cool. His kids are grown now. Or at least I think they are, when he took a break from singing etc several years ago he said he wouldn't come back until his kids were grown. So I assume they are now.

@thislittlepennyearns Oh yeah. This was 17 years ago when she taught them. She quit teaching herself after she got married.

There hasn't been any bad weather. It rained on us fro like seven minutes- and it wasn't more than a harsh sprinkle.
