During the last 10 minutes of work I watch the time.

At the frag end of the day when University closes, that is 10 minutes to end of the session I look at my watch. I dont feel like working at that time. There is biometric system. So I have to punch at the biometrics before leaving. I dont know about others. But I have that feeling.

Unless I was having a bad day at work, I didn't notice the time and, often, had to be told it was time for me to clock out and leave.

thanks DE in the beginning the work gets importance for me including teaching training research. The moment it comes to end of the day then there is feeling it is time out

@sathviksouvik I never minded going in early to work but hated it when I was told somebody else couldn't come in so I had to stay late. I usually told them I was getting sick so would leave on time. (Jobs can only force me to stay to my time to clock out, not somebody else's time to stay.)
