Why do some get to be so gullible?

At times I don't understand why people still believe in things which are obviously too good to be true. I just don't understand why. I uploaded videos on YouTube about these scammers on the loop and tell you what, some are bashing me at first and eventually believed in me when they experienced themselves being scammed. I have some colleagues who actually believed in that platform at first and despised me and laughed at me for opposing or not believing in this platform. OMG! I told them it is too good to be true. They were mad at me. And now Sky Media is totally off the radar but their official Sky Media account is still up and running. So, now they are totally quiet and don't want to share in order not to scam people around. I have the feeling they don't want to share their experience because they are still hopeful? Or don't they want to try and help others so that others won't be scammed? These people are either enslaved of money or the dire need to earn a lot of money. G!

Because the people are desperate so they really want whatever seems to be too good to be true to really be true. The people who are/were being scammed by Sky Media don't want anyone to know they were foolish enough to get scammed... They're embarrassed now and hoping nobody finds out they were scammed.

You have a good point there, DE. But don't they want to correct their wrong by being able to share so that at least people will no longer become a victim?

@Neil43 No, their only concern is not to let anyone know how foolish they were.

@DaddyEvil Hahahaha! I agree with you. And you know what, most of them are pastors. Perhaps, that is why they are so embarrassed. I just wonder if they mention about this during their service in the church.

I think this has something to do with lack of critical thinking. And when it comes to money, people really will do anything.

Yes being blinded by the money even though they are religious leaders.

People are very ignorant and arrogant and do not listen to reason and truth sadly.

Yes. You just made another very good point. I wanted to say this but I always wanted to find a euphemistic way of saying it. But there you go. Bulls eye!

I have seen many that are taken by the spam that is rampant online. It is most unfortunate they are not more careful.

I have my fair share of being scammed but not in a big way. Before I tried investing in HYIPs but then I only made small amounts to be sure. For some, I gained and for others did not last, and lost some money in it. But now I am not into it anymore since I know and learned a lot from it so I would not try to gamble again on that anymore.

Based on my experience, anything that sounds too good to be true is a scam. I run away from it as soon as I smell something fishy.

OMG! I think they are really regretful about the money they invested, which is not lower than 400 USD. And I do understand that. I can relate much. But what I don't understand is why they are quiet now and don't want to share and support me about telling people that this is really a scamming platform. Do they want more people to be scammed? Or they embarrassed enough?

If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Daddy Evil makes some good points.
