Did some cement job

Philippines

They set up the canopy tent when I was not around a few days ago. But I noticed they didn't use drills to put screws on the foot, instead they used nails, which i think was not effective. Yup it's there permanently. Not to mention, there's a typhoon coming in, it might fly next to the neighbor if the winds are strong. So, I cemented all of it's foot. But mom wasn't contented it wanted me to cement some certain parts of the floor. I did but every time rain comes down Anyways, that tent isn't gonna fly anytime soon. Have a nice day

Nails will just loosen when the wind blows and pressure is put on the feet.

@DaddyEvil Nope. Not even a single freaking drop. Frustrates me because this was the day I should have done the cement thing.

@Letranknight2015 Did you get a lot of rain and wind from the typhoon yesterday or today?

Myabe you should remove the tent in the meantime. I guess the frames would not be affected unless some flying debris would hit it.

@Letranknight2015 I think we were spared from the wrath of the typhoon as it will hit the northernmost part of the island. We were anticipating it to be rainy this coming weekend to be rainy but it was not that bad.

That's a good idea of cementing it. How does your mom want it done? What you did is sturdy enough to bold the tent in place.

Hello @florelway Well, It was actually my idea to cement it. She just had cement nails sealed into the foot of the tent.
