Fleshy mangoes

We just harvested a few of these mangoes that are large in size and full of flesh. The only concern is it rained a couple of times before we harvested them. We had to wait as they were still not ready These mangoes just do not like rain and I only hope once they ripen there will be no worms in them. This inconsistent weather raining unexpectedly although it has saved us from watering the garden it is not good for fruits that are in the process of reaching maturity. Keeping my fingers crosses

Oh, I hate when worms get into them first.

I have never seen a mango shaped in perfect circle. Our variety in here is elongated or sometimes shaped like a heart but I haven't seen a round one yet.

Good luck for those mangoes. This is what happens to the cherries when it rains when they are almost ready to pick up, you can find worms inside.

@allknowing We needed the rain in March and April, NOT now in May.

It has been awhile since I had a good mango. I hope you get several good mango's from your tree.

We have 4 trees. What we harvested earlier were good and we enjoyed them after distributing to friends and family
