It is over two years that papaya plants just did not survive They hardly need any maintenance and if was because of the erratic weather that caused them to disappear. But this year I see a few healthy looking plants and hopefully they should start yielding in a couple of months or so. The photos is of the time when we used to get them practically every day. Papayas are good for health and they taste good as well What fruits do you grow

Papaya is indeed a good fruit because it is rich in fiber and also aids digestion. I myself do not grow any fruit, only buy it if I want to eat it.

I saw that my local grocery store had papaya for sale, and while I am not growing any fruit myself, my best friend is planting watermelon. She is planting more veggies than fruit this year, but I’m most excited about the watermelon.

@allknowing I bought a few times, those sold here are not good. Those sold in France were very good, they surely imported from their Caribbean Islands.

Papaya is a very common plant here. I think they are suitable to grow in warm places. I seldom will eat papaya because sometimes I mind its odor.

@allknowing not where I live right now. No space. If I recall, we had a papaya tree before in my grandparent's place.
