Finally I see some papaya plants

It is over two years that papaya plants just did not survive They hardly need any maintenance and if was because of the erratic weather that caused them to disappear.
But this year I see a few healthy looking plants and hopefully they should start yielding in a couple of months or so.
The photos is of the time when we used to get them practically every day. Papayas are good for health and they taste good as well

Papaya is indeed a good fruit because it is rich in fiber and also aids digestion. I myself do not grow any fruit, only buy it if I want to eat it.

I do not like to buy as the kind we get is not as tasty as what we grow.

@allknowing i see. Here, in my place. The fruit that i buy usually sweet and tasty. But it sure is fun to grow your own fruit.

@allknowing I bought a few times, those sold here are not good. Those sold in France were very good, they surely imported from their Caribbean Islands.

I don't have any fruit tree.Only flowers.i like papaya also very much.Nice picture.

@allknowing not where I live right now. No space. If I recall, we had a papaya tree before in my grandparent's place.

I love papaya. Sometimes make papaya soup with black eyed peas and chicken feet.
