My friend and class mate

A few years ago I had invited a few of my class mates to spend a day with me. It was a memorable day. They came to Solitaire and after a heavy breakfast I took them to a beach resort close by where the rest of the day was spent. We had lunch and tea and later we spent some time on the beach.
In the photo you see one of them having a me time Now I am told she has had a stroke and so there is no way I can reconnect with her She does not respond to my emails and I do not have her phone number.
How close are you to your class mates?

It was years ago that I got together a few class mates and had a wonderful session with them. And that did not stop there. We continue to meet

@allknowing That is great. 
One of my classmates is my best friend, and we get together once a month. She’s just the best, and I’m grateful she’s in my life. Next year, we have a vacation planned.

We are all over the place too but I did make efforts to collect around 14 and from then on we meet whenever possible.

@LadyDuck You can still do it as now you can call for free. Take it as a challenge and see if anyone is on Face Book . You can even check at your school. They may have some information. I even caught hold of some of my colleagues and now we exchange emails.
There was a get together organised of ex colleagues but I could not go. I was asked to create a video of my memories which I did.

@allknowing When we left Italy in 1975, the only way to stay in touch was the phone. International calls were very expensive and most of my friends got married and moved to another place and I could not find them anymore.
