A Beautiful Day in Tawas, Today

This morning, Jay closed all of the windows in this house. He was trying to keep the heat out, but it eventually got very muggy in here.
So, my husband reopened the windows and there was a cool breeze, circulating through the air. The cross ventilation felt very comfortable!
The temperature got up to 86degreesF today, which wasn't bad at all. Jay took a drive to town to mail some letters, while I stayed home and did some reading. It has been a beautiful day.

I've seen August temperatures, more like fall weather. Other times, it has gotten stifling hot!

@kobesbuddy Oh here, we never get a break in August. We are an incredibly windy state, but in August the air is completely still. I’d gladly vacation in another state for the entire month. I’m thinking Michigan sounds very appealing.

@AmbiePam South of where we live, summers get miserably hot and humid. Detroit area is awful!

This summer weather is very comfortable. Usually, it gets hot and muggy in June.

Lovely picture. It's going to be 90 here today. We have the AC on. We could use some rain as it's been VERY dry. Have a great weekend.
