Mirabilis also known as 4 o clock flowers grow easily and in fact once introduced in a garden they will come up on their own all over. I have just introduced them and it took me a while to see them bloom.
I had bought seeds online and although they had promised many colours I just see three red, yellow and white but they mutate quickly and now I see a mix of yellow and red. A bit disappointed but atleast this time seeds germinated and the plants are looking healthy,.We have them now in 7 pots two plants in each pot
One plant has many blooms and I had to click it and share it here.
What flower story do you have to share?

I have wild mirabilis in my garden and they grow wherever they like. I prefer the "new" ones from seed as the plants are small. The ones that come out the next year from a sort of tuberous root are bigger plants and not so beautiful.

I would not mind them spreading all over as they are so colourful.

@LadyDuck I have so many trees and the front garden had to have only those bottle palms but now the whole story has changed and so there are so many areas flowers do not bloom.

@allknowing That is good. Yesterday I spotted some leaves where I do not want the flowers. I am going to dig to dig up the tuber and move it to another place.
