Lit Niagara Falls

It was on the Canadian side that we got to see the Falls when we went there in the night. It was biting cold. We were draped in all warm clothing and spent some time there. I would call it psychedelic lighting colourful and shining with the lights. I have seen the Falls during the day on both sides and was glad I got to see them in the night I wanted to see the frozen Niagara Falls and for that I was told I should have visited around December and that I do not think I could withstanding the weather at that time. Grateful I could atleast see the lit waterfall What's your story? Image credit: .

@banksim What you see in the image is nothing compared to what you see there The photo is just a small part

enjoyed these amazing falls as well. Even yet, when I visited in the spring, the ground was still frozen. It was really chilly there, making it difficult to stay for an extended period of time. I can only see the New York side; I wish we had been allowed to switch to the Canadian side.

So you got to see the frozen Falls as well. Both sides have their own individuality.

My parents and sister have seen Niagara Falls at different times, but I have never visited myself. I'm sure they are breathtaking.

I have never been that far northeast so I only see any of this in photos. I imagine I would not survive the kind of cold that could freeze the falls. I am grateful I can see it in photos.

But being there in person you get a different experience.

Oh yes, I am aware of that but 2000 miles is a long drive to try to get there and I have no interest in driving that far.

That is mesmerizing. I've been to Niagara Falls twice, but never in the night time.
