We Had Senior Buffet at Ponderosa Steak House

Jay and I sometime enjoy the senior buffet special, at Ponderosa Steak House. Any other time, it's too expensive for us to eat there.
The senior night is $10.00 each, which also includes a refillable drink and dessert. I usually get de-caffeinated coffee and Jay chose a glass of Pepsi.
The meal was good and of course, very filling. I chose a little bit of vanilla soft serve for dessert, Jay had bread pudding and two chocolate chip cookies, which he enjoyed:)
Anyway, that was our splurge for the week, until go to the city again. Menard Building Center is where all our building supplies come from. They are good to us!

They closed our Ponderosa years ago. We used to enjoy going there once and a while. I'm glad you had a good dinner. Love the flower.

We don't eat out every week, as we did a year ago. Ponderosa senior buffet is $20 for both of us, not a bad price.

@kobesbuddy We usually get out once or twice a month, depending if I have doctors' appointments in the area. Sometimes we will just go to get out of the house.

That blossom is the bush, right next to our front door. I'm glad you let me know what it is:) When the blossom wasn't fully open, noone could tell yet.

Usually, Friday is our night to buy carry out food. We sit at home, watching television or a movie.

It's the senior dinner buffet, all you can eat for $10. It offers many different items to choose from, we filled our own plates.

@marguicha A person can order a steak, but the prices are a lot higher. The senior buffet has meats of various types, I love their baked chicken. Jay dives into their fried fish and Swedish meatballs.

Wow, you still have a Ponderosa!? The only one I’ve seen still in operation is in Pigeon Forge. All the other ones have long since closed.

The Ponderosas in Michigan, most of them are gone. Only one is still open(that I know of), in Bay City.

And Verizon has a young fella, wearing a hot pink suit! We laugh, every time he shows his fluffy head of dark hair! It's hilarious:)
