I just love to share these kinds of rescue stories where firefighters in Palm Beach County Florida come to a home to use their skills of rescuing a female dog who is six months of age named Cookie who was in his home in Palm Beach Florida on Tuesday evening when she was in the kitchen sink and her paw was stuck in the drain. The Palm Beach firefighters answered the call to rescue Cookie who must have in extreme pain having her paw stuck in a drain. The firefighters worked as a team to remove the drain from the sink and then cut the metal around her paw by using tools in a careful manner which lasted around one hour to successfully rescue her from her ordeal. After Cookie was rescued by the firefighters, Cookie had her paw bandaged as her owners then took Cookie to an animal hospital to treat her for her injury. I am hopeful that Cookie will make a full recovery from her injury. Link is upi.com/3661685561996 via @upi

Poor kitty! The curiosity of cats sure gets them into trouble sometimes.

Cookie a dog. I guess her anxiety being inside the kitchen sink getting a bath did make her place her paw in the drain.

I guess I would have to read the story, but I do not understand how that dog got it’s paw so stuck in the drain.

Probably Cookie got scared taking a bath inside of a kitchen sink since she is so tiny.

Now how in the world did her owners let her get into the sink to get her paw stuck in the drain in the first place, This all sound strange to me but glad she will be all right,

That is what I am thinking that the dog should have taken her bath in a bathtub instead of a kitchen sink.

I guess the dog was scared while her owner was giving her a bath inside of the sink.

Poor Cookie. Maybe she will stay out of the sink. I'm glad the firefighters were able to help.
