Movie Review: M3gan

I looked through my recent articles and didn't see a review of this movie that I have written yet, just that we had watched it. They hyped this movie up for a LONG time it seems. So I thought it was going to be REALLY good or at least leave up to it's hype. It didn't. It didn't at all. The beginning of the movie was REALLY slow. The acting was REALLY bad. Especially the boss. He was so forced and it affected the movie pretty horribly. You can tell that they spent their whole budget on special effects and hyping up the movie. The "doll" Megan was kind of just a brat. The kid who the doll belonged to was a huge brat and it made for a horrible main theme of the movie. The basis of the story is that the robot engineer's sister and her husband die in a horrific car wreck and their pre teen daughter gets sent to live with the engineer. The engineer sees that as the perfect time to try to convince her boss that the protype she has been working on is ready to go. Enter Megan. The doll gets a little too attached to the niece, and things go south from there. As you can imagine. The movie was slow, the story was pretty predictable and the acting was mediocre at best. So I wouldn't recommend it. I have linked the trailer if you want to see it. The trailer makes the movie seem way better than it actually was, I assure you. Have you seen this yet?
