Good morning (kinda)

It's closer to afternoon, and is actually past afternoon in my neck of the woods. We got a little bit of rain this morning, not flooding conditions but enough to cause George and and I to sleep an extra hour or so. Then being cuddled up to Chilly makes things more enjoyable, too. Hoping to turn things around and start doing better here. The last few days have been a bit disappointing and were five days in. Last month was a lot better, so I know I can do it.

Most scientists believe that it's subconscious. Rain mimics the sounds a baby would hear inside its mother. And, that, acts as comfort to us even as adults. Might be some truth to it.

Rain can make things more dark and gloomy....hopefully the rest of the day is nice. Hopefully things will get better here too

I've been a real lazy bones in terms of posting on here today. I might just write it off and make tomorrow a better day, and just deal with notifications today and be done with it.
