I closed the windows

I had the windows open overnight and all day today here at the apartment. I drove back here from work with the top down despite the fact that it was hazy and smoky. The smoke from the Canadian wildfires seems to have gotten significantly worse and I'm somewhat freaked out by the news talking about all of the microscopic toxins that are in this smoke. My asthma isn't aggravated. . . yet. Soooooo I closed the windows. It is only 73 F in here so I don't need to turn on the air conditioning. Meteorologists are saying that this smoke will be around for at least another week. Ugh. I think it is supposed to rain for part of tomorrow. Hopefully that will bring down some of the particulate in the air. The picture is my view from the front windows.

You need to worry about the cats in addition to yourself. It's best if you keep the windows closed. We are supposed to be under a major alert; but right in our area it appears to be clear. I'm hoping that the both of us get some rain.

@NJChicaa It's supposed to rain on Monday, hopefully; and that should help the smoke and the dry, dry ground that we have.

I hope you get some rain to clear things out. Been a dry spring so far.
