Watching the NBA Playoffs Last Evening

The NBA playoffs are being televised. Last evening, Jay was all excited about the basketball game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets.
I was too tired to watch this game for very long, so I went to bed. This morning I eagerly asked my husband, who won that game. There are four more games to play.
Jay's response was, "I don't know who won that basketball game. I fell asleep on the couch, at the very tail-end of the game!"
He checked with Google to find out who won and Denver Nuggets won this match over the Miami Heat. And the final score was 109 to 94.
"Congratulations, Denver Nuggets!"

I didn’t watch the game, but I was rooting for the Denver Nuggets. I called my dad last night at 8:30pm to ask him a question. With no preamble, he just blurts out, “What’s the score?” 
I had to check really quick for him. He’s rooting for Denver too. Does Jay root for anyone? Most people I see are rooting for Miami.

@AmbiePam Usually, Jay favors certain players. Steph Curry is our favorite, but his team is out of the competition. LA Lakers used to be favored by us, but not any more. Miami is an OK team, we don't favor them. Jay's son is from Florida, he's into football.

It was good for first half. 2nd half Denver pulled away and was not very competitive. One thing I hate about NBA is so easy to blow someone out. All sports have that but NBA is by far the sport that has most blowouts, I seen 7 game series that sound so competitive but you look at box score and every game the team won is a blowout. I am like how is that possible.
I also hate all the guys flopping. They say soccer is bad but NBA players falling down left and right trying to draw a fake foul. I would have fell asleep too, like Jay but I done turned the game off already.

@kobesbuddy Indeed, I have said that many times and then he taught the whole team to do it which in sense now the whole league does it. Kobe never did that crap, why I like him better. He did cry a lot to the refs but he never did flop.

Those professional player cheat! And they fake a foul, I have seen this happen with Lebron James, he is awful about that! Faking a foul, they should kick that player out of the game:(

I like to watch the games, but not very often. Football, I sometimes watch the competition, when they're playing for the big trophy.

I'm not into sports, except for occasionally watching a game. Football? That's Jay's favorite sport, I believe. No, he doesn't play football, but he knows all the moves, on television.
