Friday morning when my reborn artist sent me a message that she started working on Sophie and that she'd send me a photo later that day.
It was the very first glimpse of how Sophie actually looked like. No longer a blank canvas, but a baby with a face. And when I saw the photo, I just fell in love with her face again. And she look just like Craig when he was a baby. The eyes, the lips.
The artist only did some blushing and worked on the creases but hasn't done the skin tone yet. Sophie will have that Asian skin tone. My skin tone actually.
I am looking forward to the next update.
Isn't she pretty?

@LadyDuck So cute. I could never tire looking at newborn babies. Craig has plenty of baby photos when he was born in the hospital. We had a lot of guests in our hospital room as almost everybody wanted to get a glimpse of him.

@AmbiePam Right. She will also be weighted with glass beads and stuffed with poly fill. Which means she will have the weigh of a real baby. I can't wait to dress her up.

Yes, and she isn't even done yet. Only 10% of the work has been done. Still a long way more to go.

Oh yes. My artist usually would start with the blush and creases before the skin tone so everything would look natural and very realistic.
