Why we fail?

We set a goal that seems to be perfect but not realistic. If you broke down our plan into small achievable goals then the chance of our success will be great. Setting the highest optimistic goal only satisfies our ego but not achieving it in our life creates much guilt in our self so don't set an unrealistic goal.
Apart from goal setting it is also important to take small steps to achieve the goal. A good plan without actual concrete efforts is like a good book but did not read.
Failure cannot be bad all time, it can give us lessons on what not to do in the future and to avoid our mistake

yes, the most important thing is to learn from failure, and not make those mistakes again. the question is do we really learn from mistakes? sometimes I just try my best with what I'm doing. If the results don't match the expectations, at least we tried. And keep trying. That's all i know

Goals are supposed to be SMART. specific, measurable, acheiveable, relevant and time bound.

Setting a perfect yet unrealistic goal leads to ego satisfaction but eventual guilt; breaking it into achievable goals increases success chances. Taking small steps and making concrete efforts is crucial for goal attainment, as a good plan without action is akin to an unread book. Failure provides valuable lessons for the future, helping us avoid mistakes.
