Love the rain, hate the thunder and lightning.

Like many, we've been dealing with a dry spell. This is the second day in a row we've had rain. Yesterday was short and sweet, but today was a full-on thunderstorm. Thankfully, our solar panels helped keep the power flowing. Kind of. We did have one surge, but nothing we couldn't handle. Only I was in the tub, so that kind of sucked. I'm out now, because of the rain. At least this line of storms is moving fast and we still got the beneficial rain.

We need rain so badly, I would even welcome a big thunderstorm. It's just dry and dusty. I can see why you wouldn't want to be in the tub just then. Glad you got rain and are safe.

The storm didn't last long, but because it happened at night it's not going to eveorapate so quickly. So that'll be good for the yard.

@kaylachan We haven’t had a thunder storm since the middle of winter unless I have my wires crossed. We usually have more in the spring but not this year.

I like the rain myself as long as it does not knockout electrical power and flood the streets.
