Outlander's new season starts this Friday

Oh what a happy day Friday will be--the last day of school AND the start of season 7 of Outlander. It is my favorite "new" show that is still being produced. It is difficult to explain but it is about a WWII combat nurse who winds up traveling 200 years back in time. She is forced to marry a Scottish highlander, winds up falling in love with him despite having a husband in the future, and eventually going back to "her" time when she is pregnant and it is expected that her Scottish husband will die at the Battle of Culloden. There's soooooooo much more to it and now in season 7 they are facing the start of the American Revolution. I love love love the show. Last season was only 8 episodes due to COVID and the lead actress' pregnancy. This season is going to be 16 episodes I think. After this one there will be just one more season to wrap everything up. That is weird to me because the author of the book series that the show is based on hasn't even finished the last book yet. The show writers are going to end the story without the end of the story being done. Craziness. For now I look forward to the next few months of new episodes of Outlander.
