Waterfall and Little Island in NYC

Yep. There is a waterfall in NYC. It is located in Greenacre Park on Manhattan’s east side between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. I did not know this until recently. Want to make it out there soon and take a look.
There is also a new (artificial) park called Little Island, located on the west side of Manhattan along the Hudson River. It opened in 2021 and is very unique. There are lots of plants and flowers there, amazing views, and a mini-golf. There is even a little area with a stage, where performances happen. I went there with my mom last weekend. It’s a beautiful place.
Even being a resident of NYC since being a kid there is always something new or unknown (to me) to discover.

I saw photos of Little Island right after it opened, and it looks like a really nice park. I hope to visit there the next time I’m in NYC. And if I can remember, I’ll check out the waterfall as well.

I wanted to go there for a while now. Finally made it. And my mom was glad I took her there. Now I want to go back there with hubby.

When I was single a co-worker got some tickets to Hair. I wanted to go to NYC and see the show and explore the city. There is SO MUCH to see in NYC. My mother said "no"; so that didn't happen. Was there once when I was about 12 with my parents.

I haven't seen a Broadway show since March 2020. Miss it. Gotta check out what's out there that is not expensive.

Yeah. She was glad I took her there. We did over 22,000 steps that day. That's a lot. For me anyway. It was a bit tiring. And we got red a little from the sun. But it was nice to be out by the water.

There is definitely a lot to discover here. I love hiking. As long as it's not too hot and humid though.
We recently went to a park in Staten Island with hiking trails that I did not know about. Saw two peacocks and a few chickens. They weren't regular chickens though.
