Jay is Helping a Friend Today

Jay got a phone call this morning. He is helping a friend with a couple jobs. Soon he won't be available, he will be focused on our new home instead.
Yesterday, we received some disappointing news. It will be about a year, before the state of Michigan approves the owner's sale on this lot. Jay withdrew our deposit, we can't wait that long to start building!
Yes, this is bad news! Yet, life is filled with things that we have no control over. I am determined to handle this situation, without being depressed. Hey, things like this happen all the time to other people, not just to ME!
So, this lovely lot we had money invested in, will no longer belong to Jay and Me. Yes, we did get our investment back, the full amount. Back to the drawing board:)
It seems like nothing is simple any more but, that's OK:) Kharla can handle this like a grown woman should

Um I had never heard of this..never in my life.
What is the law on the books for that Kharla?
Wow, you really have to be careful ..tell us more.
And what about didn't you guys already buy appliances and stuff?

The government(state)is never in a hurry, bottom line. They do things whenever it's convenient, for them. The law? They aren't doing anything right or wrong, just progressing at a snails pace. They don't care about people!

@RebeccasFarm Yes, we purchased all new appliances. We will keep them, wherever we end up living. That seller lives out of state. This is why the state of Michigan has to approve the sale. They stall, because it is considered a trivial issue, they aren't in a hurry to take care of it.

And you hit the nail right on the head! If God wanted us to build on that property, nothing could have stopped his will. Now, the fact remains that God has something much better in store for us!
