I remembered to take out the trash this time.

Mondays and Fridays are garbage collection days in our community. I try to keep up with this schedule as diligently as possible. However, the truck doesn't come at a specified time and there were instances when I had to be asleep upstairs or busy in the bathroom and the trash bag is still in the garage or porch and here come the garbage guys!! We don't take out the garbage the day before because scavengers (humans and animals) tend to rip off the plastic bags and scatter our trash. And I would have to pack them all again and use a new bag. It's not fun. Anyway, this morning, I thought to prop the trash bag on top of a box of recyclables. Hopefully that discourages the animals from reaching for the bag. I also made sure to wrap it tightly. I have segregated the wastes too and made sure that every small bag inside the big bag is categorized. I'm short of labeling these bags, really. Anyway, I'm off to make lunch. See you all in a while.
