Is this awkward?

Handbag

So here I was for 20 minutes holding a beautiful lady's handbag for 30 minutes with a lot of people giving me cool looks that I can't interpret. Am I cool or awkward? My daughter and wife decided to do a boatride with friends at a lake over the weekend and there wasn't enough space for me on the paddleboat. So I ended up waiting - with her pretty handbag. No big deal, but it got me wondering how I actually looked as I walked along the lakeside with it!!

While I am sure it was a funny sight, rest assured that men can be seen doing that for their wives everywhere.

I've seen it often at clothes stores outside the changing room area.

@pitstop Yes, exactly. My uncle had to do on vacation when my aunt was parasailing in Mexico. He kept getting funny looks.

Often my husband keeps my handbag while I am busy in a shop, no one cares.

@pitstop It happens that a woman asks to her husband to keep her handbag for a while.

Men do that for their wives all the time. It's no biggie.

Being a man I hope you were not ashamed of carrying a lady's bag
