Good morning from hazy sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, where temps will soar into the 80s today. Yesterday was a good day. After church I went to my son's to celebrate Father's Day with him. He is a gamer, so I told him I would put money down on three games on pre-order. He drove my car. I'm getting it fixed this week. I don't know when. He didn't like the way the brakes acted and asked his girlfriend's father to look at it. I need a booster. My son is paying for it. I told him I could. He said he has an income. I have a budget. Okay. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. When I got home yesterday, I settled down to three movies: Courageous, Swiss Family Robinson, and Sound of Music. I didn't get to bed until 10:30 last night. All of them good movies for Father's Day. My plans for today include the exercise class this morning, working on Guns of War, and getting the notifications done. I have a love/hate relationship with the new to me computer. It's ultra slow. I told my son about my computer and this one. He told me I need a new computer and to save my money for one. I will do that. This is a good interim computer, but I can't work on my manuscripts on it. It takes 10 minutes for the manuscript to open up. And I need to go through hoops to work on it because the computer is older. So, the best thing for me is to work on them on the laptop. It's also easier and faster to play my games on the laptop. Right now, I'm on the computer. So, I'll be watching for good sales on computers. Maybe I can find one for my birthday. That would be nice. Okay, that's how my day is shaping up. How is your day going? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

We have been to see the doctor of my husband, then grocery shopping and did a long walk in the afternoon.

@just4him - He explained everything about all the past tests he had. We already knew, there was nothing new. The next test six months from now.

I hope you are able to find a new computer at a reasonable price. Have you considered getting a docking station with a monitor and keyboard for your laptop? This is what K wants to do when we replace the old desktop she uses for household and personal things downstairs. My day is going well. I am still worn out from our 5-hour trip home yesterday turning into a 10-hour trip due to a flat. I posted about that this morning.

Thank you. I'll need to look up what a docking station is. I haven't heard of it. I'm glad your day is going well. I'm sorry your five-hour trip turned into ten hours.

@just4him I think you will like the idea of a docking station. It allows you to use your laptop like a desktop but quickly disconnect to take it with you if you want.

@DWDavis It sounds wonderful. I just looked it up. I think I have one of those. I'll need to look in the storage closet in the box I have all the electronic wiring.

I hope you find a good priced computer soon. Just keep practicing with the laptop until then.

I'm doing both. Right now, I'm on the computer. I'll do the laptop for my games and manuscripts.

The heat and humidity are so bad. So I sit at my PC with the AC losing on me and think up all sorts of things I can write up and post, It is the best I can do. I hope you can find some good sales on computers. Maybe this can give you an idea

@RasmaSandra Thank you for the info. I'm planning on buying a Dell if mine can't be repaired. I see that's what they are featuring.

I'm sorry the heat and humidity are so bad. Thanks for the suggestion. They are way out of my price range.

Yesterday I found out my pajamas was delivered. They were supposed to come Wednesday. They are really cute and I tried them on this morning and they fit. I also did some more on my paint by number and soaked my feet. My feet have been hurting lately from calluses. I also went through my sock drawer and threw away some. Sunday my mother and I got some new socks.

My computer runs slowly too; but I refuse to get a new one this year. I still have an extended warranty on this one. My day is going OK. Am caught up here but decided to pick up the new Discussions of the people that I follow.
