19 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a warm hazy day in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Today was a good day. I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. I gave the exercise tapes to the friend who gave me the computer and went back to bed for two hours. It felt awesome! I'm thankful I got the notifications done this afternoon. It's always good to be caught up here and see what's happening in your neck of the woods. I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War. I got a chapter completed. I'm getting closer to the endpoint where I will once again take out my brain and let it work on the end of the novel. I know I need to work on Destination Love. I will. Right now, this is what I want to do. I'm thankful for the quick shopping trip just now. There's a potluck in an hour and I had nothing for it. I got the last two-pound container of potato salad and a small fruit tray. I will do my best to keep to my diet program. I'm still losing weight. Okay, that's my day. I spent most of it on the laptop. I'm getting used to it. The computer, nice as it is, is too slow. I'll work on it until my annoyance gets to me. Who knows, I might not buy a new computer if I get used to this one enough to feel confident with it. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
