Listening to online radio while working

I started working remotely using a computer back in the late 90s, and I can see how much things have changed since then. Back in those days, my computer wasn't online all the time because there's always that "meter" running on my internet subscription. It was good though because I was well focused on what I needed to do. I would only reconnect to my server if I needed to search for something on the web or send my work to the client.
When I had a taste of unlimited Internet in 2000, my primary joy was listening to Yahoo!'s online radio. It was my constant companion while working and it was all I needed to keep me going for a few hours. (Plus the occasional text messages and emails from friends.) My WFH life was relatively steady and quiet.
In the recent years, there's just so much to see and do when you're online that I find it challenging to focus on what I need to do. These days, I've been trying to limit the number of welcome distraction to 3 - messaging apps, Viu/YT, and myLot. Right now, I'm on a break and writing this with online radio playing on the backdrop. Maybe later I'll be watching an episode of K drama.

It's unbelievable how my attention span has shortened in the past decade.

I would have some quiet time too when working online. What does Alexa play for you?

Absolutely. There was a time when I got so into vintage collage videos on YT. I especially like the ASMR ones. So relaxing.

It's good you still have lots of tasks online. May I ask if you're on Upwork too?
I don't have any tasks now, so I watch as many K-drama as I can and watch YouTube videos too, or listen to music on Spotify while MyLotting or Tweeting or Facebooking.

I've stopped doing client work since February so I can do more chores and also help my daughter finish her homeschooling modules. No, I'm not on Upwork. :)
I watch K-drama in between chores and module work. I'm still trying to finish some series that I've started long ago. I used to get so intimidated by weekend dramas with more than 20 episodes. Now I'm getting back into them and taking things rather slowly. I would pause every 15 minutes or so to do chores and other tasks and then come back to it when I need to rest. This way I don't feel guilty for binge-watching and leaving too many chores undone.
I mostly use Spotify for podcasts. I listen to podcasts while folding clothes or cleaning the rooms upstairs.
. I rarely post on Twitter and FB but would check for notifications once or twice a day.
