Life is made of opposites

You see in God's creation everything have opposites. If there is light there is darkness. If there is happiness, there is sorrow. If there is life there is death. If there is good there is evil.
In life don't be surprised if we have problems they are part of life. God wants us to experience both blessings and problems in life because it is a principle of life.
The good things is when we have problems God is also there for us and would like us to experience His help and caring for us.
Life cannot be just all blessings all the time we will experience pain too.

Yes, it does appear as if most things have an opposite here, but God, in his glory, has no opposite, as he is always only God. God's love has no opposite either, unless we create hate within ourselves, instead of love.
A lot of opposites then can be created by wrong living. We have bad thoughts instead of good thoughts.
We see darkness, all around, when the real truth is that there is only light, as the light of God shines into any darkness, and darkness is no more.

I agree. Hopefully pain, when it comes, is "brief momentary light affliction", as Paul says in Romans, and doesn't go on and on.
May your blessings be long, may the Lord's mercy and grace be upon you, and may your troubles be short in duration.

@averygirl72 I agree with this. May there be hope for those who pray over and over during a long struggle that lasts for years.

Yes it's a combination of both but if pain exceeds a certain limit , unbearable then we cannot praise God
