Pickens County firefighters Stan Albertson and Captain Judd Gillstrap answered an emergency call from a concerned person in Lake Keowee South Carolina on Monday when a fawn got stuck in the mud while the fawn tried to walk across a creek.
The two firefighters were able to "hoist" the fawn up an embankment where the fawn was reunited with its mother since the gender was not revealed.
As far as I know the two firefighters saving the life of a fawn was just another day at the office where a firefighter is on the clock 24 hours a day and seven days a week saving lives of both animals and humans.

Firefighters seem to get both people and animals out of their jams.

What is with all these fawns running amok? Their moms should be more careful,

I guess the fawn allowed her curious nature to take over.
