Star goose berries love rain and the tree is laden with fruits. They are sour and when we were kids we used to eat them but now I see sour things do not agree with me. I can have the juice as sugar is added The fruits are wiped (not washed) and put in a glass or plastic bottle to which sugar is added in the ratio of 1:2 where one is the sugar. The stuff is then shaken well and placed in the fridge for about 8 days The sugar takes in the juice from the fruits and the juice is ready. The juice is then strained out and the fruits that will be shrunk are discarded. I normally add a preservative so that it can last for months

I feel like that would take the enamel off of my teeth! It sounds tempting, but that's a lot of sugar. I'd still try it though.

The sugar removes the sourness and it is diluted with water - it is a concentrate

Do you get star gooseberries where you live. You can try with tart cherries and any other juicy fruits
