Some animals have no table manners. / myLot

I am watching a beautiful documentary about wild animals. But while some animals are even as corteous so as to let their elders eat first, some others are completly messy.

I just saw some evils of Tasmania eat and they are disgusting. I also find disgusting the hyenas: even their fur is not nice. The great cats though have nice table manners and know perfectly well who gets to eat first. And talking about table manners, my Luna has a time for eating that is differint in winter than in summer. When I go to fill her dish, I tell her to wait as I am afraid that she´ll push me and make me fall. She seems to know this and waits patiently until I fill her dish. If it is not dinner time, she will not go near the dish and will prefer to be petted by me. As you see, a perfect lady

I am now watching an equidna. It is not often that I see one. So I´ll say good night. Australia is calling me.

I cannot say that about Preiti She was no doubt a dignified lady when it came to everything else but not when it came to food and drink She preferred to lap up water from the floor and not from her bowl She preferred to eat her dry feed again not from the bowl as you can see in the picture and she would sit and eat (lol)

Luna has a dining room. She likes a certain place at the terrace. If I change the place of her dish she will look at me with a questioning look.

I saw the title of your discussion, and the animal that immediately came to my mind was the hyena. They are also just disgusting looking animals. Luna is such a wise, considerate little lady.

I always wonder about Luna. I never trained her as I didn´t know how to train a dog. She trained herself.

You are so right, some animals look disgusting when they eat. My cat is a perfect gentleman, the cat of my neighbors is messy.

Luna has been a lady since she came to my house. She even decided when she was almost a baby what part of the garden would be "bathroom". I had bought some liquid to place somewhere to make her "go" there, but I did not have to use it.

@LadyDuck I know. My Misty was polite too (among other good traits) but my son in law had trained her when she was given to me. I got Luna when she was a baby and I don´t know how to train animals. So she trained herself.

@marguicha Some animals are polite by nature. My cat never uses our lawn or the vegetable garden as his bathroom. He goes to the open field in front of out garden, near the stream, where the ground is softer.
