Blue skies smiling at me. Nothing but blue skies do I see.

We woke up to beautiful, clear, blue skies this wonderful Sunday morning and a comfortable temperature of 70F/20C, as you can see in the photo taken from the window of my writing loft. After a delicious breakfast of a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel prepared by K, we took Sophie for a walk around the neighborhood. According to my FitBit, the walk covered 1.6 miles and 3,586 steps. K is working remotely today, even though it's Sunday because she spent Thursday and Friday at a conference and has now had to spend yesterday and today catching up on the work from those two days. I did get some work done on the Buzby Beach book I'm rewriting. It is a slow process as I am trying to be meticulous about what I leave in, what I leave out, and making corrections as needed. Thus far, I have finished two chapters. There are other tasks I need to give attention to besides my writing. One is finding a restaurant for our camping club to go to within proximity to the campground for our rally next month. K and I are hosting this time. How did your day start? Do/did you have any big plans for today? https://youtu.be/QRiXpTEmo3s

What a lovely start to the day. Also, a very relaxing thought, said the person who has not made the bacon and egg breakfast just yet. We do not have any big plans for today, we are discussing what places we would like to visit next weekend when we go away. We are both looking forward to a break.

Are you going overnight? Is it a trip to the country or the city?

@DWDavis We are leaving early on Friday morning and will return on Sunday. It is within our province of Ontario, up on Georgian Bay. It is well known for downhill skiing in the wintertime, they use zip lines in that area for the off season. It is a very small hamlet. We will travel for the most part through the country passing through half a dozen towns along the way. I find that those little towns are half of the fun, as you never know what store front will call your name, and you will stop and pop in, especially the antique shops.

Our skies are still clear and sunny. The forecast for the coming week is the standard for summer around here - Hazy, Hot, and Humid, with a chance of Thunderstorms.

We went to church, visited a bit while there and got a few groceries. After our delicious lunch we took naps and then I have been working on my certification videos as well as visiting with a couple of family members by phone and on Facebook.

The verdant vegetation is a wonderful sight to behold. Good luck with your books and with hosting your camping club.

Our house is arranged at the edge of our woods. The leaves give us a nice wall during the spring and summer.

A good day starts with a good strong cuppa and then watch the US News, from the day before, on YouTube. it is the tea that is most important!

No big plans for today. I fell asleep twice while MyLotting this morning and must now catch up. Good luck with your book and finding a restaurant. Hope you and K have a good Sunday.
