Cancer Breakthrough Of Sorts?

Over the years at least three of my family members have lost the battle with cancer. I also have acquaintances who suffer from the disease, so l am always on the look out for any possible breakthroughs.
As you will read in the link below, scientists are having high hopes for the use of vaccines in cancer treatments - not yet a cure, but shrinks tumors and prevents them from coming back.
There have been promising results so far in the treatment of skin cancer and pancreatic cancer .
Do you know anyone who has died of cancer? One day soon this thing will be beaten.

I should imagine everyone has lost someone to this horrible disease. We recently lost a niece to ovarian cancer. Her parents are distraught as you can imagine.
