Street light so bright it turned night into day

Last week they installed these brand new Street Lights that were a bit taller than the street lights on our side of the street. This morning they installed the wires, but I wasn't optimistic about them lighting the night. Until tonight while it was raining so right and the lights went out. I didn't have to turn on our front out door light.
I went to another neighborhood that belongs to another district to compare their street lights. Not only theirs exist on one side of the street, it's not as big as ours and sidewalks not safe to walk since it's still dark. Hope our progress would inspire their Mayor to do the same.
Sorry I wasn't active in posting for a week. Got busy with the business and my struggle to sleep early.

We have good lighting and it is safe to walk on the roads in the night

We only have one streetlight in a section of houses. It's dark between the streetlights.

Hello @DaddyEvil That is what makes it so dangerous. I have received a fb group update about a person that got robbed and when she showed the picture, the road lacked the huge street lights and cctv.

@Letranknight2015 It isn't considered "dangerous" here because the houses between the streetlight are supposed to keep their outside lights on so there is still enough light. I do keep my outside lights running all night but other people don't.
