Is transgenderism improving equality, or not? I don’t want to write much here because I want to see what people think and whatever I write might influence the responses. But I would be interested to read opinions on this. (I don't have any suitable pictures to add so I'll just use it as an excuse to post some pretty dahlias instead.)

They were last year. Unfortunately I didn't save them in time before we had a sudden plunge in temperature.

@Fleura That's too bad. I had some in a pot, that I would take in for the winter months and then resurrect them in the spring. But something went wrong this year and they didn't come up. Sigh.

In my opinion NO, transgenderism is not improving equality. Even in countries where politicians and large corporations are showing their support to transgender people, those people still have a very hard time to find good jobs and they are still discriminated.

@fleura Thank you for not attaching a relevant picture. I find that transgender is increased confusion and uncertainty rather than equality.

In the US more and more things are being accepted; and I guess the transgender group is one of them.

IN my country, I can say that it has improved a bit. Though there's still a pending bill that has yet to be approved by the house to improve equality.

My personal take on transgender or being a transgender really depends on the individual. If a certain transgender knows his/ her rights and knows how to cope with it in the community then there wont be any problem. He/ She knows where He / She stands and by that knowledge He/ She wouldn't abuse rights of others just because of gender preference. Their preference is already recognized and many people understands them so with respect we can all see respect within each other.
