Free Lunch for Customer Appreciation

Today we went to the free lunch that one of the internet/phone/TV company puts on every summer for customer appreciation.
They have hot dogs, watermelon, bags of chips, and a drink for the meal. Usually they have ice cream, but this year they didn't. They had popcorn and cotton candy instead.
They usually give prizes too, things like bags, hats, shirts, water bottles. This year me and Eli won a water bottle and my husband got a winter hat (beanie).
They had a dunk tank this year too, which was new. Eli tried it and he dunked the guy on his 3rd try (out of 7). I think he was impressed with himself. I didn't try because I didn't want to be embarrassed when I didn't make it lol.
As we were getting ready to leave, someone dressed as Spongebob Squarepants came out to take pictures with the kids. Eli actually wanted his picture with them, usually he doesn't want to do things like that. So that is what you see in the photo!

@MommyOfEli2013 That’s usually the case at a big dinner. Eli looked so happy. I’m glad he enjoyed it.

@RubyHawk It was small compared to how many people were in the town park for the food trucks and concert this evening.

lt was fun for Eli at least. He had fun winning prizes and throwing balls at the dunk tank. Well at least I am not alone in not thinking I'd make the dunk tank thing. Too bad yours don't do things like this

@MommyOfEli2013 They’d have to do it in winter or fall for me. This heat is killing me. I might volunteer to get in the dunk tank! ‘Cause I sure ain’t hittin’ nothing.

@AmbiePam It was pretty hot sitting out there in the sun, and it's only in the higher 70s. Well that would be fun to be the person getting dunked then.... I think here they were just dunking one of the employees lol.

He's almost as tall as me! but I am short myself at only 4"10. He's at least 4'8 I bet. But yes it is a vry nice thing they do.
