Clinton firefighters were on a rescue mission on Wednesday afternoon in the Passaic River when a boat that had three people on board that got caught in the current and went over the Dundee Dam. One of the three firefighters jumped from the boat while two other firefighters "Rode it down." A New Jersey State Police helicopter was able to have s first responder rescue pick the two firefighters who were in the river by grabbing one person at a time and carry them to safety in a helicopter. All three firefighters were saved thanks to the efforts of the state police rescue team. The boat is mostly submerged with the Clifton firefighters standing on the boat 's engine which is above the water. Teamwork is the best recipe to execute rescue missions in our world today.
