Jay is Sore Today, After His Long Bike Ride

Yesterday, Jay decided to take a long bike ride. He's out of shape, which I'm definitely not going to mention. Yet, I did forewarn my husband to be very careful.
This is a busy holiday season in Tawas City, traffic is terrible on the main highway. Jay sounded a bit irritated with my forewarning and sped off on his bicycle at full speed.
Later in the evening, he was sitting on our couch rubbing a blue liniment into his legs. He was in a lot of pain
Yes, his wife gave him sympathy, not a lecture on "I told you so!"
If he already knows what I said, why say a word? 
This would be like rubbing salt into an open wound.
Love covers up a lot better than a brutal reminder of truth.
Anyway, Jay is doing much better today. Seventeen miles is a long bike ride, for the second time out this summer
He's resting today, taking it easy at home:)

@AmbiePam No, when he rode bike for Make a Wish(children with terminal cancer), Jay rode 300 miles in three days.

My brother and I went on a bike ride together and stopped to see our old babysitter. I was in misery, and he was laughing at me. The babysitter said, “She’s just used muscles she didn’t know she had!”

With Make a Wish Foundation, they rode 300 miles in three days. I couldn't do that in a year!
