Big Chief Standing Wolf was telling his young son about life, to prepare him for his future, and for a time, when in some distant time, he might have to be the chief of this tribe himself.
Let us listen in to what the Chief said to his young son.
"The apparent emptiness of life belays the fullness of non-life, because most people live from non-life energies, rather than from love, which is the only energy that fuels life with itself, and never loses any of its fullness to a false emptiness, but keeps emptiness, and fullness, as they are, both subsets within love, like the yin, and the yang, they complement each other."
The Chief had a bad habit of talking in a convoluted way, which often made it hard for most people to follow his meaning.
The boy replied:
"What you mean is that I have to live a full life, from the God of non-emptiness in me, not from the empty fullness of any other non-life form of existence. God is not emptied, even when he puts all of his fullness, into his creation. I can be filled with his love too, to live a full, and meaningful life, empty of any falsenesses."
"Yes,"
his father replied.
"Life is not about blindly just observing."
"Life is about utilising love's energy to create instances of God, within your life, which brings new things into existence, by bringing others to God, by them observing how you are living for God. God gave both purpose, and mission, to everything that he created."
"Oh,"
his son said.
"Nothing depends on just itself, but all ultimately depends on God."
The Chief, looked at his son, with a great feeling of pride.
He knew that his son would one day be an even greater Chief to his people than what even he had ever been to them.
His son listened to the truth with his heart, and his tongue was not empty of his heart's wisdom, and full of the nonsense of an empty blabbering mind, instead.

Yes, long paragraphs, and jumbled-sounding words, are hard to understand.
I suppose the boy was used to the way that his father spoke, so he was able to get his meaning, despite the way that his father worded what he said.

Thanks. Yes, they both knew God, both as a friend, and a companion, in their lives, as should we all too.

We need to refocus from time to time as our minds stray from innate knowing and love.
The Chief's son is a good listener to start with and is determined to make the effort to succeed his father and perform his duties with flying colors too.
There is nothing to beat love's energy to power our thoughts and actions.

Yes, for a Godly life, lived in the service of God, we should never stray away from love's energy, letting the fires of love cool off in us, due to our not keeping them connected to their source.
Our own thoughts, and actions, on their own do not cut the ice, as only the burning power of love can do.
When we get an opportunity to love, and to go the way of love, we should not shy away from that direction, by our holding any thoughts, that will prevent us from taking action along love's path, and direction for us.

@Shiva49 Yes, sticking to what is right, and being true to underlying truths, allows us to live a worthy life of love too. We should not stray from what we know is right, and our conscious is our rudder there too.
