Went to the Movie Yesterday

Jay was with his friend Larry, so I went to see a movie. The show wasn't packed, there weren't many people viewing this movie.
I sat 1/2way up on the right side, so I could hear and see better. It was pretty good, the name of the movie was "Elemental."
Yes, this was an animated picture, love that formed between Ember (fire) and Wade (water). I really liked this movie, both families had issues that eventually were resolved:)

I haven't heard of that one. On July 5 we are going to go to the Indiana Jones movie.

This is a 2023 movie, a pretty interesting flick. Water(Wade) and Fire(Ember) don't mix! lol

My daughter really wants to see that. It does sound good. We always set up front in the special big chairs. I'd like to see the Indiana Jones movie. But I will wait until it comes on Disney+. The new Avatar one is on there now.

I haven't heard about this one but sometimes the animated movies are better than the rest. I have the DVDs on all three movies of the Hotel Transylvania series and each time I watch them I end up with a great big smile on my face,

I'm glad that you enjoyed the movie. I don't care for animated movies; but that's just me. Hope you and Jay have a good 4th.

Was it almost a retelling of "Romeo & Juliet"?

I don't know anything about the plot, of Romeo & Juliet. But this movie, was good. Her parents were determined to leave their family business, to their daughter. She had other ideas, for her future. But, felt she was in a no choice situation. Ember thought she owed her parents, for all they'd provided, throughout the years. When Wade became her close friend, she realized that she DID have a choice!
