There's this grocery near us that always does buy1take1 whenever the expiry date of the food is near. 
We first found out about it last Christmas and have been going there monthly to check.
Their prices are usually expensive so this is one way we can save money and also try different products we never would have for the normal price.
I sure hope they do not go out of business though.
Do you also have shops that have regular deals?
