There was a time when I used to Celebrate my birthday and at that time I was in school and college but slowly I have stopped celebrating and now it's just another day for me and have stopped celebrating it. Is this me only or are there others that have also stopped celebrating their birthdays?

We celebrate birthdays. Every year is different. When I was a child my mama had magnificent parties for me and my siblings.

@Tampa_girl7 One year I planned my own Birthday party, but didn't tell my mother! I invited about twenty-five children from school and many of them showed up on our doorstep! lol I got many gifts that year, a surprise party(Mom was surprised).

Pretty and I buy cake to have for the birthday but we don't buy gifts or do anything else for the birthday.

@Butterfingers Yup... although there's no reason anyone has to feel bad about having some sweets.

I still celebrate my birthday with my family. The kids like knowing they are trying to do something special for me and we usually go out to dinner the 5 of use wherever I would like to go.

Jay and I honor each other's Birthday, by going out for a special dinner. We get phone calls from our children and Jay's sisters.

I don't really celebrate it, but friends and family do get me a few gifts. But I really quit an official celebration of a cake or going on an outing a long time ago.
