Computer Update

Remember when I posted about my computer? First, we(my grandson and I) thought it was an add-on to my present computer. That didn't seem to be. Then we thought it was the Wi-Fi. We have fiddled with that and it seemed to be an ongoing problem. Confusing and aggravating is what it was and has been now for more than a month or two. Then my grandson happened to take the computer that has been an issue downstairs. It worked fine. Booted up and the browser came up immediately. Interesting. So he came back upstairs and we played around with the positioning of the router. (We had thought that being closer to the Reuter was a good thing)We positioned it clearly over in the corner and the computer works fine now. So much frustration and thinking bad thoughts about the cable company and then the computer brand and, then to find out it was the router. Downright crazy. Now I just hope this fix lasts.

A good thing your grandson found out what was wrong. Hope it continues to work.

Sometimes, it's the little things that do it. Tell the router to behave or it will be replaced.

I know how you feel not being able to work with a computer that suffers defects when you try to start it.

I'm glad you figured out what the problem was. Wish I could do that with my computer.
