Back from Waltermart

How can it be raining and so hot at the same time?
Anyway... it's nearly dinnertime (6:51 p.m.) and I'm glad my husband and I got home just before this downpour. We made a quick trip to Waltermart earlier at around 4 p.m. to inquire at a travel agency for airfare. It's already the peak season in SE Asia so it's nearly impossible to find cheap flights. We've yet to decide whether it's Taipei, Hanoi or Bangkok. I'm more keen on BKK because I've been wanting to visit a long-time friend who's based there.
After making inquiries, we went to a massage station for 15 minutes of pounding dutifully done by a massage chair. 
It was so good I thought I was going to doze off. 
Then we had early dinner at the food court. Hubby got dimsum with rice and I got a small tub of shawarma rice. I ordered two more tubs of beef shawarma rice to bring home to our girls.
I didn't feel like shopping for anything else but I took note of some household items to get before we move to our new place by end of July. I've been itching to get a new set of cookware and more glass containers for my daughters' packed lunches.
All for now. I shall have to wade through my notifications tomorrow morning. I hope things are fine and dandy on your end. If not, may you find at least one happy thought to hold on to. Good night.

Bangkok sounds nice. If I were to ever visit East Asia I would check out the mountain ranges at Kathmandu and Guangdong.

Thanks. Kinda hard to book flights now but we'll still try. If the SE Asia trip doesn't push through, we might instead fly to the US in December. Just need to have my visa reissued as it's been ages since I flew to your side of the world.

Looks like you had a very busy day doing so many things. I think the El Nino is ongoing which is why we are having very warm days despite the rains pouring down every now and then. I am not keen on traveling these past few days because of the weather.

I have my productive days and I have my lazy days. I don't feel like traveling either because of this confusing weather. But husband is making plans before school starts in August. Honestly, I'd rather be busy preparing for that and the new flat we're moving in to by end of July.

Thanks, Amber. The tickets are so expensive at the agency. We're still looking for cheaper deals if we could get one. Otherwise, we'll just save up for a US trip in December.

I hope you get the chance to experience a massage. It can be very relaxing and rejuvenating. I try to get a massage at least once a month by a blind masseuse and at least twice a month on the massage chair.
