Waiting patiently

Luna is the one wearing the pink dress looking at Chopper while Chopper is looking at her. These two waits patiently for whoever comes home first. They are both looking at the window in our garage.
But at this moment, they were waiting for Daddy who was late because of a dinner meeting at work. No matter how hard I call their names they are just going to look at me without moving an inch.
It does make me wonder how they are able to know for sure that Daddy is already coming. They keep on barking and barking and even wagging their tails. Then true enough, I can hear the gate opens and the light flashing from the car.
Do you have pets who also patiently wait for you to come home?

My Chopper is the one like that. He never moves an inch to where he is until someone he is waiting arrives.

That is correct. Same goes with me and they are really so adorable showing how much they miss me whenever I get home.

I don't know how dogs can tell time but I swear they do. It doesn't surprise me that the dogs know when their daddy is coming home.
Every Tuesday evening my oldest daughter comes over and every Tuesday night the dog sits by the door at almost 8 o'clock. She sits and waits patiently every single Tuesday night and not any other night. Beats me how she knows it's Tuesday and that my daughter usually gets here by 8 pm
