The Ukrainian president used to be a comedic actor and now somehow has become the biggest bada$$ in the world. When it was clear that Russia was going to invade his country and he was offered evacuation to a safe country his response was "I need ammunition, not a ride!" He has remained with his people and is so inspiring. Today was the 500th day of the Russian attack on Ukraine. This bada$$ took an inflatable boat miles from the mainland to Snake Island. Ukraine has no navy in the Black Sea to protect such a trip. Snake Island is where Russia attacked early and that's when the Ukrainian military there refused to surrender and told it to go F itself. Ukraine even printed stamps commemorating that victory. Zelenskyy was there today commemorating that bravery and to show Russia that they have made like zero gains. This man constantly amazes me. He is a former actor who is now dealing with a brutal attack on his country. Ukrainians in general amaze me. Russia will lose this war and Putin will lose his power in that country. Slava Ukraine!
